A catch-all e-mailbox is one that gathers all the emails sent to inactive addresses. For instance, if your address is info@domain.com, but someone misspells it and sends an email to inof@domain.com, it will still be received in the catch-all mailbox that you have created. Just one mailbox per domain can have this feature activated and thus you’ll never miss emails because the other side has an out-of-date address or has made a spelling mistake. The drawback of using a catch-all mailbox is that you may begin receiving a lot of spam email messages, but this issue can be resolved using an anti-spam protection solution. It is also vital to keep in mind that a mailbox with an active catch-all feature cannot redirect inbound email messages to a third-party address.
